fairy paradise

my first short film:)
the theme of this was innocence. don't you wish you could be a child again? when everything was much easier and you could be anything you wanted to be?
my beautiful friend samaadhi helped me bring to life this one minute short on a girl who wishes could be young and free again.

the great ocean road

one of my closest friends visited me in melbourne for a week during our spring break. i've hardly been around victoria and this was a good oppurtunity for me to finally make the drive down great ocean road and see the twelve apostles. we woke up at six am, forcing ourselves out of bed whilst trying to ignore the after effects from the night before. i am not a morning person, and the 8 degree melbourne weather did not help. we were the last of a tour group to be picked up, which sadly meant that the only spare seats left were the ones at the back (bad hangovers, chilly weather and the back seat of a bus down winding roads by the sea are the worst of combinations!) neither of us experienced the first two-three hours of our journey; we fell asleep and missed out on most of the scenery, waking up only to reposition ourselves for a more comfy spot against the cold glass or hard leather seat.

it turned out to be a good day though, seeing the apostles for the first time was remarkable! we stood there in awe, reminiscing our year nine geography lessons on erosion and marvelled at the beauty of nature. i purchased a leo 35mm plastic camera a few days before our day trip which proved to be a worthy companion in helping me capture the stunning scenery.
